He was head of AIDA Education for 6 years and a Pioneer in setting up international education and Judging standards for Freediving. Our Instructor Course complies with (or exceeds) AIDA, Molchanovs and PADI Freediver Standards. At Freediving Planet Moalboal, you can be an Instructor certified under several agencies with just 3 extra-days after the Instructor Course.
We are the only Freediving Center in the Philippines to offer AIDA Judge course. Jean-Pol FRANCOIS is an International AIDA Judge Instructor, with a huge experience in judging National and International competitions, World Champs and World Cups, and was also judge for more than 20 World Records.

SARDINES RUN AND MERMAID
Enjoy the Sardines Run of Moalboal, a mesmerizing and unique experience. Being surrounded by huge balls of Sardines just next to the Beautiful Moalboal House reef guaranties you a lifetime memory.
Your Safety really matters:
Your guide to the Sardines Run will be a CERTIFIED PROFESSIONAL FREEDIVER INSTRUCTOR.
Never Jeopardize your Safety, always double check that your guide is an experience Freediver Instructor.
We are not allowing more than 5 participants per group since we want you to enjoy the sardines experience at its maximum.
The activity may be cancelled in case of bad sea conditions or strong current.
SARDINES RUN
Our Mermaid has a Beautiful story to tell:
Born in Moalboal in 2020 during Covid Pandemic, she is a 2 meter high beauty of 500Kg.
She finds the perfect spot on a coral garden at 6 meter deep, at the edge of a vertical wall, so she can be the guardian of the sea creatures.
In December 2021, Typhoon Odette was able to seduce her for a trip to visit the Abyss and its Master, Poseidon. She disappered.
A few months after the tragedy, during a dive, we found her alone and crying at 58m deep, little bit hurt at the elbow. A scuba deep rescue mission was organised to brought her back on the reef.
She is so happy to be back that she allows new corals to grow on her, helping the reef to recover from Odette's attack.
